Protect Democracy is a nonpartisan nonprofit dedicated to preventing U.S. democracy from declining into a more authoritarian form of government. In order to preserve the norms, institutions, and guardrails of U.S. democracy, Protect Democracy strategically deploys the law, policy advocacy, media, and technology to prevent the standard playbook of anti-democratic tactics employed by autocrats from taking root in the United States, and to build a democracy that works for all of us.
