Overview
As a leading African feminist organization, Trust for Indigenous Culture and Health (TICAH) works to ensure women and girls have access to high-quality, comprehensive sexual and reproductive health information and services, including contraception and safe abortion. Through its Our Bodies, Our Choices program, TICAH builds the agency and ownership of communities to identify and realize their sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) needs, and works with marginalized populations as equal partners in achieving SRHR and social inclusion. TICAH will implement a new strategic plan, capitalizing on its Culture-Art-Health framework to bring attention to gender justice and how “choice” is understood, acted upon, and reflected in SRHR services and policies throughout Kenya. (Strategy: Global Reproductive Equity)
