Overview
The Center for Empowered Politics Education Fund is a Bay Area nonprofit organization focused on providing capacity-building support for grassroots organizations. The center trains and develops new leaders, and strengthens movement infrastructure, particularly around organizing and power-building strategies. This grant will support Bay Rising, an alliance of three community-led anchor organizations across the Bay Area — Oakland Rising, San Francisco Rising, and Silicon Valley Rising. This grant will allow Bay Rising to build a regional infrastructure to support organizing and increase civic engagement, and to provide leadership, strategy and skill building capacity to community and local leaders.
